What is Integrative Psychosynthesis?
Integrative Psychosynthesis is a holistic approach to working with you as issues and feelings are explored together. It embraces the whole person - the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of the individual.

It has many strands although I would describe my predominant style of working as psychodynamic. In this way we can explore how unresolved conflicts from the past can still influence the present. It means that the way that we work together and relate will be an important aspect of the work as our dynamic in the therapy can be a source of understanding for both of us about your inner world and your way of relating with others.

Often what can be most helpful is just out of consciousness and so I also like to work with dreams, images and the creative imagination. It is through these that the therapist and client can explore both the psychological and soul issues that are calling to be addressed. Soul in this context is not a thing, but qualities of depth, richness and heart through which new meaning and possibilities may be found. By bringing awareness to our inner life we may find a strength and balance.
