I am married with three adult children and have lived in St Albans for many years. I have run various personal development workshops and facilitated introductory days for students interested in a counselling training. I am also actively involved in supporting counselling for adolescents throughout Hertfordshire both through fundraising and promoting awareness of its need and importance.

I have a Post-Diploma in Psychotherapy and am a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice.

I am committed to maintaining my professional development and have on-going training. I receive independent supervision and support on a regular basis in order to maintain and enhance good practice. I am also a member of the Therapeia Group, a small group of counsellors and psychotherapists who practice in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
